If you are up for a bit of a tougher press up now that those muscles are getting stronger try these, they will really get your abs and challenge those shoulders, plus open your thoracic spine, which when tight (as most people’s are), will bully the lower back, more about this in another blog.

Simply try these on your knees first, pull the bum back and imagine scooping through, as if licking a trail of lovely alkalising green smoothie off the floor, before lowering the hips and extending up through the spine.

Once you are comfortable with these, give them a go on your toes!
