Hello! Happy Sunday! I hope you are all enjoying the sunny weather!
I certainly am and wanted to share with you one of my favourite snacky style lunches…. Guacamole and awesome alkaline veggies….Avocados are said to be one of the most perfect foods, amazing for fertility, fantastic for the skin, delicious and full of nutrients! The lime alkalises and cleanses, coriander is super cleansing for the blood, tastes amazing and again, alkalises the body! Woooo! Then we add in fresh, organic veggies and we win again!
When looking at food think about what your body needs, what nutrients do you need, what would make you feel good? This will nourish you, fuel you, help repair you.. and it tastes amazing and don’t you deserve to be nourished and feel incredible?
So go on, give it a go…
Raw veggies… Romaine lettuce, radishes and leaves, carrots, celery, whatever you like!
2 ripe, soft delicious avocados
2 small sweet tomatoes (chopped)
1/8 red onion, chopped
some chopped red and yellow pepper
juice of 1 lime
Simlpy mash it all together, take a deep breath, smile and enjoy!
