We all know nuts are good, but did you know that they have a natural protective enzyme which stops the proper breakdown of the nut until it reaches its perfect conditions (this is a dark moist place for it to grow). So by soaking nuts over night in the fridge we can breakdown the phytic acid that is in the skin and make these delicious foods much more nutritious!
Almonds are amazing freshly soaked, they taste much cleaner like coconut.
You can then use the soaked nuts to make almond milk by just adding filtered water, blending and then straining the contents.
You can then use the left over almonds to make nut bars!
