I know you’ve heard this time and time again, but hydration is simply your best friend if you want to feel any of these things…

Over Christmas, I, like many others I suspect, fell out of my routine and ate a bit more and drank a bit less water and the results were… feeling lethargic, a few spots I don’t usually get, feeling achey, water retention and increased hunger…all because I didn’t drink enough good stuff!
“But water…it’s sooo boring” I hear you cry… Let me help, here are a few tips to enjoy hydrating everyday
1. Try drinking first thing in the morning I always have at least 800ml of fresh H2O after brushing my teeth, before I eat anything! It wakes me up, cleans my insides, helps me function, hydrates my tissues and makes me feel bright eyed!
2. Try Bamboo Charcoal I only drink water filtered by bamboo charcoal if I can help it! It tastes amazing and is far cheaper than other well know brands of filter. Bamboo charcoal is natural, a great de-odoriser, can be re-used and re-cycled and is a great talking point, everyone asks what that weird stick in my bottle is!
3. Try home made vitamin water My beautiful clients and I totally love natural vitamin water… simply fruit in water, left overnight to infuse our delicious water. It adds nutrients, alkaline minerals, a great taste, an added freshness and will actually help our absorption of nutrients. Throw a few rocks of pink himalayan salt in there and you have a beautiful isotonic drink for the gym! Woooo! Go nature! I love lemon, lime and orange water…go on, have a play!
