I would just like to say a big thank you to everyone who made the Core and Physio evening such a success!
For those of you who were unable to attend, we started the evening by perfecting core engagement and thinking about when and how we can introduce this into everyday life – please see the TIPS page for more information.
In addition to the normal format of the evening, I was delighted to welcome two colleagues from different areas of sports therapy who gave their valuable time and expertise.
Firstly, Tina Gillies provided physiotherapy advice and tips on how aloe vera can help with digestion, aches and pains and much more.
The second guest was Matt Day, a sports therapist who provided taster sports massages and injury advice in a workshop based on the ground floor.
I know from the reactions of those who attended that they were extremely grateful and appreciative of the advice given by both Tina and Matt.
As always there was a raffle to win a free session for attending the workshop and congratulations to Jane James who will be enjoying a free personal training session in the near future!
